Transparent pull-through mirrors, local storage caching, and real-time repository activity heat map.
Zot OCI Registry Cache & Heat
activeTo insulate the homelab against upstream rate limits, internet latency, and build bottlenecks, the control plane hosts a unified cache registry. containerd queries are transparently intercepted and directed to NodePorts on ghost. Local writable outputs compile containerDisk layers.

BuildStream Cache Utilization
Remote-execution cache fill across both cache drives: ghost (bazel-remote + Buildbarn shard) and exo-0 (Buildbarn shard).
bst Cache Heat Map
livebazel-remote is nodeSelector-pinned to ghost; Buildbarn's 2-shard CAS/AC is scheduled across ghost and exo-0 via podAntiAffinity. Buildbarn's block-device-backed storage is preallocated on disk, so its cell values are a derived estimate of logical fill (allocator counters × known block size), not raw disk bytes.

Data Integrity Posture
Collector-derived contract · v1
- Evidence-backed authenticity: Overview status and image release metrics are dynamically parsed at build-time from verified GitHub Releases feeds and homelab cluster data.
- No synthetic variables: Out of 25 total recorded pipeline runs in this window, 2 passed cleanly, 14 failed, and 9 are currently active. Gaps stay completely explicit.
- Audit-friendly pipelines: Direct lineage link to active repository configuration files and workflow triggers ensures transparency.
